Like all stories, ours has a beginning. Wayne’s journey in joinery began in Wellington, where he trained under his father — an English joiner who ran a small furniture-making business. It was in that workshop that Wayne first learned the value of precision, patience, and pride in one’s craft.
Those formative years shaped not only Wayne’s technical skills but also his deep respect for quality materials, thoughtful design, and the tradition of building things to last.
Eventually, Wayne made the move to Wānaka, bringing with him a passion for craftsmanship and a vision for creating bespoke joinery that blends function with timeless style. What began as a small operation has grown into a team of talented designers, joiners, and installers — all committed to the same standard of excellence.

If you’ve already worked with other designers, we’re happy to incorporate their designs into the process, blending their vision with our craftsmanship. Whether you come with specific plans or need help brainstorming ideas, we collaborate with you—and if needed, with builders, designers & architects—to bring your vision to life.

Our skilled team then moves into the detailed design phase, where we finalise measurements, timelines, and costs. Once everything is in place, we get to work, crafting and executing your design with the precision and attention to detail it deserves—while being conscious of our environmental footprint.
